SESSION 1- AM CLASS TUESDAYS 9AM-11AM 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10
Class spots can be secured by adding a listing to your cart and checking out. Payment will be accepted in a couple of different forms. Zelle, Venmo or ESA.
This sewing class is designed for students 8-14 years old and are limited to 4 students per class. Each class is a total of 2 hours; each session is a total of 4 weeks. All supplies needed will be provided including a variety of fabric options.
- Operate and care for a sewing machine
- Read and interpret beginner sewing patterns
- Understand basic pattern construction and terminology
- Identify different fabric types and choose the right one for your project
- Practice basic sewing techniques through hands-on exercises
Students will learn all of the basic skills needed to complete each project. Including sewing safety, terminology, all about the machine, and a variety of stitches. They will also learn how to read a pattern, how to cut out a pattern, how to properly measure for a project, and how to cut fabric.
I do take ESA and can send over an invoice. Simply use the code ESASTUDENT at checkout, then email me your name, address and the students name and ESA ID to Amanda@milymaefabricshop.com. Once you have submitted your invoice to class wallet, please email me a copy to hold your spot. A 2% fee will be applied to class wallet invoices. Class fees are non-refundable, if for some reason you cannot make a class, fees will be applied to a later sewing class. Please email with any questions you may have.
